We used Final Cut Pro on Apple Mac computers to edit our thriller movies. I learnt how to use a wide range of transitions to make our thriller interesting. For example fades and dissolves and i practiced my match cutting skills. Match cutting was quite difficult as we wanted the sequence to flow as smoothly as possible. Sometimes the shots didn't quite match so we had to carefully delete or add bits. The shots we used were more or the less the same length throughout, if not a little slower at the start and then it speed up slightly towards the end. This created a sense of urgency which tells the audience there is something going to happen. It keeps them interested as they are expecting something to happen.
