3&4. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? How will you attract/ adress your audience.

MEDIA INSTITUTION

The sort of media institution that would distribute my product would be Paramount or one of the top budget ones. This is because my thriller is a mixture or crime and sex and these sell, so you would expect a top media institution to be involved in this sort of film. I would also advertise my movie on bill boards, Busses, bus stops and TV.

4&5. WHO IS MY TARGET AUDIENCE AND HOW WILL I ATTRACT THEM?

My target audience are both females and males aged 18+not just in the uk. My target audience range from young to old and the Internet is a very good way of getting information around. I would attract my audience by advertising my movie on the internet (e.g. Itunes, Film4, Sky website, BBC) amongst other new releases so my target audience can see it. E.g. promote the release of the movie on face book. For the older target audience I would advertise my movie in newspapers (e.g. Daily mail, Metro, The Sun Etc) and magazines (e.g Heat, Teen Vogue, zoo etc). so they could come across the advert in the morning on their way to work. TV and bill boards e.g. so they are sure to always come across an advert of my movie. E.g. A bill board in central London amongst the offices and shops to advertise the movie. So my target audiences are bound to come across it.

These are examples of different types of media that would promote my movie e.g the movie could be sold synergously with other products such a box set including other thriller movies, it could be promoted on social networking websites and in magazines.

Emma is 19 years of age she works in central London at a retail store and studies business at city university. she enjoys hanging out with her girls and having a laugh. she loves going to the cinema, pub and also loves shopping at river island.

Billy black is 30 years of age and single he is an accountant and he enjoys exercising. Billy has a girl friend and three very close friends from work who he meets up with every Friday and Wednesday nights for a night out. billy loves cooking, going to the cinema and maths.
