suspenseful moments in colllateral
- When the police stop the taxi-
- This was a suspenseful moment because we(audience) knew that there was a dead man in the trunk which the police man asked to be opened. we also knew that tom cruise's character vincet was the antagonist who forced jamie's character max into doing something bad.we were put into a state of anxious uncertainy when vincent pulled out a gun just before the police left.
- vincent turning off the lights in the building-
- T his was when he was out to kill jada pinkett's character annie.vincent turning of the lights put us (audience) in suspence because when the lights are off its scarier because you can't see so therefore can hurt youself or make a racket due to bumping into things. This is what we didn't want for annie so that vincent didn't find out where exactly she was.
- The chase on the train-
- This is when jamie's character max tried to get himself and annie away from vincent the antagonist. vincent guessed correctly what train they were on and kept chasing after them from carriage to carriage.we were put in suspence when the train stoped and max was trying to figure out the right time to run out of the train with annie while vincent was looking outside of the train with his gun ready to fire once he saw max or annie.
in conclusion these are very good examples of moments in this movie(collateral) that put us (audience) in suspense.
